Oil & Gas
Drilling support, production equipment and pressure systems across upstream and midstream operations.
01 / CORPORATE OVERVIEW
A mechanical engineering company for operations where equipment failure is measured in lost production, not inconvenience.
02
THE MANDATE
03
THE COMPANY
Crawford RigMech provides mechanical engineering, maintenance, fabrication and inspection services to industrial and offshore operations. The work covers rotating equipment — pumps, compressors, gearboxes, drive systems — along with valves, pipework, structures and the mechanical installations that carry them.
We operate in two modes: in the workshop, where equipment can be stripped, measured, machined and tested under control; and on site, where the asset cannot move and the work has to come to it.

04 / OPERATING PHILOSOPHY
// 04.1 MISSION
// 04.2 APPROACH
05
METHODOLOGY
Alignment, clearance and torque are verified against a figure and recorded. Equipment set by eye fails on a schedule nobody can predict.
A bearing that fails three times is not a bearing problem. We trace the failure back to what is driving it — misalignment, pipe strain, lubrication, contamination or duty — and design that out.
Findings, measurements and replaced parts recorded against the asset.
06 / SAFETY & QUALITY
Not a policy document, and not a separate department. It is permit-to-work, toolbox talks, isolation, lifting plans and stop-work authority — applied on every job, on every shift, by everyone on site.
07 / CAPABILITY
The operating standards we hold ourselves to on every job, regardless of its size.
Work scoped honestly and completed to the method agreed. No surprises at handover.
Permit-to-work, toolbox talks and stop-work authority applied on every job, every shift.
Alignment, tolerance and torque verified and recorded — not estimated by eye.
Mobilisation planned around your shutdown window, including unplanned breakdown attendance.
Mechanical technicians who have worked the equipment, not just read the manual.
Inspection and test points defined before work starts and signed off as they are passed.
Every intervention is planned around one objective — the asset running again, and staying running, inside the window that protects production.
The operator's production target is carried as our own. The work is judged by whether the equipment holds up after we leave site.
08 / ENVIRONMENTS
Onshore plant, offshore assets and controlled workshop conditions
Drilling support, production equipment and pressure systems across upstream and midstream operations.
Rotating equipment, turbine auxiliaries and balance-of-plant mechanical systems.
Production line machinery, conveying systems and plant mechanical infrastructure.
Hydraulic systems, gearboxes, drivetrains and structural repair on heavy plant.
Pumps, compressors, valves and pipework serving continuous process operations.
Deck machinery, mooring equipment and offshore structural mechanical support.
09 / LEADERSHIP
Crawford RigMech is led by an engineer, not an administrator. Technical decisions are made by someone who has done the work.
